If you have a testimony of what God did in your life when you were part of a mission, service or training that I did, please do share it with me. You can send me an email on the Contact page – I would love to hear from you and be able to share your testimony with others. “And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony” Revelation 12:11.
I went to Namibia over the weekend and was graced to do a 12 week course in a weekend. Wow God is so Good!!! He did incredible things. There were levels of freedom and breakthrough that I have seldom seen over 12 weeks- happen in the space of 4 days. Over 30 healings took place, 92 people were activated to minister to others, and a few hundred received ministry on the Sunday. God is doing amazing things everywhere, and He uses us despite our weaknesses. Namibia is hungry for God and Kingdom warriors with passion in their hearts are arising there.
Many prophesied, spoke in public tongues, brought interpretations, prayed for the sick for the very first time in their lives and were amazed by the healings happening before their eyes and the accuracy of the words they heard from God.
One person shared that her entire household came back to the Lord during the time she attended Firestarters- just as a result of her being different. Wow God!
On a recent mission trip to Lesotho one of the primary messages we carried was the love of the Father. It was absolutely incredible to see young and old encounter the love of the Father- some for the first time, some in a greater measure. As He loved on them many wept at His tenderness, other’s were set free from fear and performance, still others were baptised into Holy Spirit for the first time. We saw the first fruit of revival in that nation: hearts being revived again. I am excited for what God is going to do in that beautiful mountainous nation!
One of my great passions in the prophetic is equipping and activating people to prophesy. In the last month I have had the privilege to co-labour with God to do this both in Cape Town and in Lesotho and have seen over 100 people activated. Some have testified that it was their first time prophesying. Some recognised the voice of God for the first time, took risks to share it and were amazed at its accuracy and meaningfulness to the people receiving it. Some have testified that their existing prophetic gifts had been activated on a new level. Others testified that the ways in which they could perceive increased (eg: before they could sense by hearing only but now they could see impressions as well). What a joy it is that we as believers can hear God for ourselves, for those that don’t know Christ and for the building up of the Church.
Recently I met a young woman who had been suffering from oppression since she had been attacked and raped some years ago. Not only was she traumatised and stigmatised from the incident but the enemy was also having a field day intimidating her and oppressing her. Holy Spirit guided us how to pray and God did what only God can do- removing the shame, restoring her purity, removing fear, filling her with love and renewing hope. In a matter of minutes God worked deeply in her heart. It was truly supernatural to watch. She sent a message a few days later testifying that she is indeed free and has a new lease on life. Amazing God!
When we took Kevin Dedmon’s Firestarters course to Klerksdorp earlier in 2014, we were out one day loving on people in a mall. We prayed for the love of God to fill the cashier (who was the daughter of the store owner); she exclaimed “wow that’s weird, wow! That’s so weird”. So I asked her “what’s weird?” She replied that her hand could not open as she had punched the wall in frustration the night before. But Jesus was healing her hand as we prayed for her. So we continued to minister love to her until eventually her hand could open and close like normal. No-one is disqualified!
As part of the activations we would take some of the Klerksdorp team out on treasure hunts at shopping malls during the day. At least 100 people were impacted through these treasure hunts by the love of God as they received prophecy, words of knowledge, prayer and healing. The love of God rocked Klerksdorp as people no longer had use for crutches, deaf ears opened, short limbs grew out and pain left.
I’ve had the joy of being a part of and leading some missions to Beira, Mozambique over the past few years. In our 2014 mission, we were able to train more students than previous years; about 100 attended the Business Workshop and over 300 attended the Leadership Seminar. Nation Building is close to my heart and close to the heart of people I work with. These seminars and workshops are one of the ways that we build into nations. I believe that empowering people to become better leaders will ultimately impact the nation. I also believe that training people to become entrepreneurs promotes responsibility, the concept of adding value and boosts economic strength. During one of our previous trips one young man stood out to us as he did a short presentation in the entrepreneurship workshop. It was great to see him again on our last visit (2014). His potential was seen at the workshop and he was offered a great job in the financial sector. How incredible to have helped make that young man’s dream come true.
